I studiously avoided her eyes. She made a bee line for me.
I was mortified. I never see what I’m wearing on other women.
My clothes are “curated” from wearable art designers, edgy boutiques and the best department stores.

Yet, there I stood with my twin who drew even more attention to us with her animated pointing, first at my $29 dress and then her own.
